Polystick ® XFR from Polyglass
Polyglass U.S.A., Inc., a leading manufacturer of roofing and waterproofing systems, is pleased to announce the release of Polystick XFR, an advanced dual-purpose fire-resistant and self-adhered waterproofing underlayment that provides superior fire resistance. Where other fire-rated underlayment products struggle to strike a balance between robust fire protection and reliable waterproofing, Polystick XFR successfully combines our ADESO® and Burn-ShieldTM technologies with the highest quality materials to yield a product that excels in both areas. This product achieves UL Class A fire ratings for combustible decks while also providing long-term superior weathering performance.
Polystick® XFR is a dual-purpose fire-resistant and self-adhered waterproofing underlayment approved for applications up to 265°F. This underlayment features our patent-pending Burn-Shield Technology™, which offers fire resistance capable of achieving the highest level of fire ratings. Polystick XFR’s superior protection against fire spread and penetration resistance makes it an ideal underlayment for metal roof covering systems like steel, copper, and similar materials.
Fire Resistant Self-Adhered Roof Underlayment
Polyglass is excited to introduce Polystick XFR, a dual-purpose fire-resistant, and self-adhered waterproofing underlayment. Many fire-rated underlayment products on the market today tout both waterproofing and fire resistance but fall short on one or the other. Polyglass combines two patented technologies to achieve the highest levels of performance in both categories. Utilizing ADESO® dual-compound self-adhered technology, Polystick XFR features an 80 mils combined elastomeric modified bitumen upper compound and an aggressive self-adhesive compound on the bottom to provide proven waterproofing protection; while Polyglass’ patent-pending Burn-Shield Technology™ offers fire resistance capable of achieving the highest level of fire ratings.
