Major renovations were done to this high end shopping center, home to some of the world’s finest retailers. The Waterside Shops at Pelican Bay is home to retailers including Cartier, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry, to name a few. With over $22 million of renovations at stake, the developer knew the importance of utilizing quality materials. While there are several underlayment options in the market, Waterside’s challenge was to find a membrane that could be exposed to the elements for a long period of time without immediately installing the roof after the application. After examining a variety of underlayment products, Nu-Tec® opted to use Polyglass’ Polystick® TU Plus underlayment for the project.
